The Keys boat scene is its own ecosystem — center consoles tied together in the shallows, a luxury yacht with people sunbathing on the bow deck, jet skis cutting wakes between everything, a man floating on a pink flamingo ring with a drink he has no intention of spilling. The causeway bridge arches over the water in the distance and the whole scene operates in the unbothered, anarchic way of people who have collectively decided that today is not a day for decisions. Get on any vessel going anywhere. The destination is not the point. The water, the sun, the noise, and the complete absence of anything resembling a plan — that is the Keys boat party and it requires no reservation.
