The coral reef system running through the waters of the Leonida Keys is one of the most detailed and alive underwater environments GTA 6 has built — purple coral fans, barrel sponges, sea turtles at close range, moray eels threading through the rock, and shoals of tropical fish catching the light filtering down from the surface. A diver moves through it all slowly, reaching toward a turtle that doesn't particularly mind. Go down with a tank and stay as long as the air allows. The Keys from underwater is a completely separate experience from the Keys from above, and it is worth every minute of the descent.

Mid-morning — best visibility before the afternoon boat traffic stirs up sediment
Travel Tips
- •The sea turtles are most active in the mid-morning — position yourself at coral level rather than above
- •The moray eels occupy the rock overhangs. Look into the crevices, not past them
- •Visibility in the Keys is best between sunrise and noon. Afternoon diving is a different, murkier experience
