The people who live in the Grassrivers interior didn't end up here by accident. They came deliberately, or they stayed deliberately, and either way they have built a life that operates entirely outside of what Vice City considers normal. The airboat is named Airgator. The dock has a No Trespassing sign. The alligator on the boards is not a pet and it is not alive. The man in the folding chair looks like he has not been warm in several years despite the climate. The woman behind him is the most alert person in the frame. The bearded man standing holds his rifle the way people hold rifles when they have been holding rifles for a very long time. These are the Grassrivers locals. Approach correctly and they are the most valuable guides in Leonida. Approach wrong and the No Trespassing sign was the last warning you were going to get.
